Classroom dynamics affect everyone in the classroom.  It is, therefore, important to "start off on the right foot" with all the people involved.  This workshop is designed to provide educational interpreters techniques to assist them in creating positive working relationships with the 1) classroom teacher, 2) para-professional, 3) deaf and hard-of-hearing student(s), 4) hearing students, and 5) other professionals within the school.  The interpreters attending the workshop will focus on developing strategies to be applied to their specific interpreting milieu from the first day they attend orientation and throughout the school year.
