November 6, 2007      - Updated the Long Island Region's page with their room/location change.
                                    
                                     - Updated the Western Region's contact info to reflect their recent address change.

                                     - Changed the Central Region's contact info to include the region's newly-hired coordinator, Rick Thompson. WELCOME TO THE TEAM, RICK :)

                                     - Removed reference to Pattina Keniston, previous coordinator for the Central Region.



January 26, 2007      - Contintued to tweak the Center's page and made sure all links on the page work correctly.

                                   - Updated Marilyn Mitchell's biography.

                                   - Removed reference to the EIPA on the NYC Regional Page.

January 25, 2007          - Updated the Center's page to remove reference to the EIPA and EIKA tests. Information regarding the Technial Assistance center was also edited and updated to include the work we have done over the past two fiscal years.

January 24, 2007          - HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!
                                   
                                       - Removed reference to the Boystown EIKA Test and uploaded information about the Performance Screening for Interpreter Skill Development (which is found on the main page).

September 12, 2006      - Fixed Pattina's picture (it was not loading properly from the work I did on the 11th) and made some tweaks to her biography page.



September 11, 2006      - Posted Pattina Keniston's biography and linked it to the Central/North/Hudson Valley Site. Pattina is the CNHV Region's coordinator.
                     
                                       - Posted a document for Sallie Bruno's Long Island Region page. It is a suggested job description for Educational Interpreters and is good information for anyone looking to hire educational interpreters.


March 2, 2006              - Corrected the link on the Western Region Page for the Monroe BOCES #1 link (Support Services for Students Who Are Deaf and Hard of Hearing).
                                     
                                       - For the Long Island Region Page, corrections were made to the link that takes you Sallie Bruno's letter, sent in the Fall of 2005, to the region's interpreters. A link was also added to include Sallie's letter to the region's administrators, as well as new survey (for both interpreters and administrators) was posted.

                                      - Corrected the information for the Director/Coordinator position for the intepreter preparation program at LaGuardia Community College. The LaGuardia Community College page now reflects Rob Hills at the current Director/Coordinator for the program.


January 31, 2006        - Added links to the publication, "Educational Interpreting for Deaf Students, a Report of the National Task Force on Educational Interpreting"
                                       (pages 1-19; pages 20-52), which can be found on the Regional Center Page.

                                     - Updated every site's contact information, found on the Map of the Regions Page.


November 15, 2005    - Corrected links to Marilyn's bio, found on the Regional Center Page. The links were sending viewers to her older, non-updated bio.

January 28th, 2005       - First, added a link a letter from Dr. Leilani Johnson from Front Range Community College in Denver, CO, announcing a professional development opportunity in the Educational Interpreting Certificate Program (EICP).

                                        - Second, it is with bittesweet sadness that I say good bye to all of you as I leave this project to accept a Grant Writing position for Seneca County.  I have truly enjoyed working with all of you these past four years to provide better education for deaf students in NYS.  Good luck to all of you and remember that you are all making a huge difference in the lives of your students! - Peter Brown, 1/28/05

September 3rd, 2004       - Back to School!  Added the Online Module Portal featuring eleven online knowledge modules, (includes the original three modules, so really, 8 new online modules).   Updated the index and Modules pages to reflect the addition of the Online Module Portal.

May 12th, 2004              - Added Educational Interpreter Weekend Announcement and Registration Form to Long Island and New York City Region Pages.

April 9th, 2004              - Added 2004 Free Mentoring Schedule page for Long Island Region, link is found on LIR.html page.

January 28th, 2004       - Added new workshops for Central/North/Hudson Valley Regions for January, February, and March 2004.
                                                  Please note the contact information for these workshops!  Western region will be adding a couple for March in a few weeks.
                                           - Updated LaGuardia Community College page to link to their website.

October 31st, 2003       - Continued updating the website.  The New York City Regional Site and Long Island Regional Site pages have been updated.
                                        -  Western Region and Central North Hudson Valley pages have also been updated to reflect the consolidation of both lending libaries.  The
                                            combined library files should be up late next week, after Marilyn has had a chance to look them over.
                                        - Updated the Center's page to reflect the new year, and added some data regarding what the grant accomplished over the past five years.

October 22nd, 2003       - Removed links to the new Disabilities and Special Needs Deaf Student Online Course.  Discovered the that there are many updates to the
                                            course that are needed.  Hopefully will have the the course up again soon.
                                       -   Corrected Legal Guidelines Online Course headers to reflect which webpage it was, and to reduce confusion as to how many pages to expect
                                            when printing.  Also corrected CNHV and NYC Coordinator names and emails.

July 11th, 2002           -Corrected an error that prevented Internet Explorer for Mac users from viewing the main index page.
                                     - Updated the Central North Hudson Valley page, introducing Mary Jo Porter as the interim Coordinator.

June 19th, 2002         - Updated the Registration page for the September and October workshop schedule.
                                      - Updated the Workshop Offerings page to reflect the new schedule for September and October.

April 25th, 2002         - Corrected date error on Long Island Region Registration Form and Master list.  The dates for the workshop, "Interpreter Product: Voice-to-Sign: Introduction to the Grammar of ASL," were corrected to Friday, August 23rd (no change), and Saturday, August 24th.  PMB

                                      - Also corrected start time for workshop in Western Region, "Prosodic Information: Affect, Stress, Register: Voice-Sign," start time is supposed to be 2:00pm on August 10th.  Interpreters attending the morning session are encouraged to "Brown Bag" their lunch.  PMB

                                      - Added "How To" page for easier "online" registration.  This will save you a stamp, and makes the lives of the coordinators receiving your workshop registration emails much easier and is greatly appreciated by them!!!  :)  PMB
